Conference Venues in Slovenia

Slovenia:

Area: 20,273 km2
Population: 2,019,406 (30.6.2007)
Capital city: Ljubljana
Language: Slovene; also Italian and Hungarian in nationally mixed areas
Currency: euro

Slovenia is located in central Europe and shares boundaries with Austria, Hungary, Croatia, and the Adriatic Sea and Italy. Slovenia’s capital city, Ljubljana, is located near the centre of the country.
Slovenia has a total land area of 20,256 square kilometres making the entire Island easy to explore even if you are only visiting for a short stay.

Slovenia is an extremely beautiful country with massive potential to be a brilliant location for large and small residential conferences.  The country is full of interesting venues, history, landscapes, and activities to keep delegates entertained. Slovenia is a very clean and friendly country which should definitely be visited for both leisure and business purposes.

Ljubljana is in quite a central location and has an array of Hotels offering conference facilities and accommodation.  Ljubljana Airport is also in a great location for international delegates travelling to Slovenia.

In the next few years Ljubljana Airport is planning to undergo a number of developments to expand the Airport and increase the number of flights arriving and departing. This expansion will hopefully increase the number of tourists and business delegates travelling and staying in Slovenia.
